Location

Danby Hall is situated in the most picturesque surroundings of Wensleydale, on a private estate known as Danby on Ure. It is approximately 10 minutes drive from the surrounding market towns of Bedale and Leyburn and even closer to the scenic market town of Middleham. Wensleydale is a popular popular tourist destination and Danby's neighbouring villages of Coverbridge and East Witton provide fabulously characterful pubs and restaurants and stunning walks.

Input postcode DL8 4PX if using a Sat Nav.

Travelling North on the A1 take Junction 51 signposted for Northallerton and Bedale and then head towards Bedale. As you approach Bedale you pick up signs for Leyburn. Head in the direction of Leyburn which will take you up towards Wensleydale. Along that road to Leyburn you will pass through the villages of Patrick Brompton, Akebar and Constable Burton. After Constable Burton take the next left turning signposted for East Witton and you will come to the gates of Danby with two large eagles on the gate posts. Follow the drive all the way to main house called Danby Hall. Do not deviate off the main drive.
